Daniel & Katie // Surprise Proposal In Breckenridge, Colorado
Oh how I have been DYING to post these dreamy photos up! I don't think I have witnessed a more PERFECT setting and surprise proposal before!
First off.... Katie (the bride-to-be) and I have been friends for about 25 years now. From childhood memories like pool birthday parties, riding horses, going to hurricane harbor and having sleep overs to now how she stood by my side on my wedding day and I get to do the same for her. She has always been a loyal, faithful rock of a friend that has a heart full of kindness! Those of you who know Katie know exactly what Im talking about since you have been able to experience her contagious sweetness.
I was not at all surprised that Daniel had a HUGE way of making this proposal epic for Katie! She's one special lady and he planned it perfect!
As they flew out to Breckenridge, Colorado for a long weekend getaway with family, Daniel planned to pop the question on the back porch of one stunning tucked away cabin! He flew us out secretively, he had planned to have someone set up a stunning tablescape, hanging lanterns, flowers, candles and of course the hot cocoa! I mean it obviously helped that it started SNOWING! You guys, I am not making this stuff up... it was from a movie or something... this was NOT STAGED! The only word I have for it is that it was MAGICAL.
Well.... obviously she said YES! It was such a special moment to watch and get to capture! I could not have been more happy to see one of my best friends happily engaged and celebrate with them!
I hope you enjoy these snowy, whimsical photos of one of my favorite surprise proposals of all time!
