I’m Kandis, a southern California native born and raised and currently living in Temecula with my amazing husband, Dan Marino (no not the football player haha) and our sweet daughter. God is the biggest part of why I do what I do and serving him through serving others has been and is a huge honor. 

Photography has been my passion since I was younger and getting to call this my job (if I would even call it that) is pretty amazing! I have been lucky enough to have professional experience in the field of photography for over 15 years now. With an educational background and experience in digital and film photography, photojournalism and more recently video. I have accomplished a degree in various areas of photography that I am very proud of. I truly believe that I wouldn’t be the photographer I am today with out the work I’ve put into schooling, but I also have learned a great deal by hands on visual learning on my own, investing time and pouring everything into making myself a better photographer for my clients. Learning is an ongoing process as well as an ever changing one and embracing and creating new styles and techniques behind the scenes is a huge part of what I do apart from capturing your stories. 

I may not be the photographer for everyone, but I just may be the one for you! I’m all about those who love throwing out the posed, stiff and unnatural and freely being who they are with no pressure, who don’t mind running around or hiking or even getting a little dirty, those who embrace the in-between moments, who desire emotion evoking documentation of their lives, who don’t mind dancing in the street or getting a little goofy and simply being who they are, and I definitely don’t mind those who like grabbing a bite to eat after! If that sounds like you then lets connect and become friends! I don’t like the word client, because there hasn’t been one person yet who hasn’t become a friend after getting to meet them!
